The average lifespan of a sump pump is 7-10 years. These pumps can sit dormant throughout the summer and then fail during the heavy fall and spring rains. Be sure to have your pump replaced before it fails to avoid and flood damage. It will only take minutes from a pump failing to water overflowing from the ground.

Backup Systems

To further protect your home and valuable you can install a backup sump pump. They have battery operated and water driven backup pumps.
